TKN Prabowo Denies The Issue Of Transferring KIS Funds For Lunch And Free Milk
JAKARTA - Secretary of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Nusron Wahid, denied the growing issue of the transfer of funds for the Healthy Indonesia Card (KIS) health insurance program for the Free Lunch and Milk Program offered by candidate pair number 2.
"There are interpretations and analyses that develop from the TKN statement, that KIS, KIP (Smart Indonesia Card), BPJS (Social Security Administration Agency) programs, and PKH (Family Hope Program) will be transferred to Free Lunch. That's not true," Nusron said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, December 2.
Nusron explained that all programs that benefit the community will continue if Prabowo-Gibranteng is elected to win the 2024 presidential election.
In fact, he continued, currently coupled with free lunch and milk programs as well as nutrition for pregnant women and children.
Nusron said the Free Lunch and Nutrition Program for Pregnant Women and Children has three function components, namely education, social protection, and health.
"With these three components, one of the budgeting options is through the budget of these three functions, you can add a budget through these components. So, it's not a diversion," he said.
The Golkar Party politician said the option to increase the budget would later be channeled through the function of each component.

Nusron explained that related to the source of financing to increase the budget, this would be done in stages.
"So, not necessarily Prabowo-Gibran won in 2024, then in 2025 a budget of IDR 400 trillion will be budgeted. This will be carried out in stages through a priority scale. Our estimate is that in 2029 we can achieve the target, namely 82 million more people will benefit," he said.
He emphasized that TKN Prabowo-Gibran is committed to continuing programs that have been successful in the previous government.
Currently, Prabowo-Gibran is the only pair of candidates for the 2024 General Election that carries the sustainability of development, so it is impossible to remove previous government programs that have provided benefits to the community.
