Bima Residents Struck By Lightning, 8 Shepherd Goats Died
The Bima Police, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), evacuated a resident in the local area with the initials SB (15) who was struck by lightning while grazing goats in the Mount Sonolo area.
"The resident of Bolo Subdistrict was struck by lightning during rain in the local area," said Head of the Public Relations Section of the Bima Regency Police, Iptu Adib Widayaka, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, December 2.
The incident that happened to the victim began while grazing goats in the Gunung Sanolo area and suddenly heavy rain accompanied by lightning on Friday (1/12) afternoon. Due to heavy rain accompanied by lightning, the victim took shelter under a tree to avoid rain.
"But unfortunately while taking shelter, the victim's right hand was hit by a lightning strike," said Adib Widayaka.
In addition to the victims who were struck by lightning, the eight goats who were herded dead on the spot were struck by lightning.

Then the personnel who received the information immediately moved to the crime scene (TKP) and evacuated the victim to the Sondosia Hospital for medical treatment.
"The victim's life was saved and is currently being treated at Sondosia Hospital, Bolo District, Bima Regency," he said.
His party appealed to the public to remain vigilant when heavy rains accompanied by lightning and strong winds occur.
"Stay alert to potential natural disasters when there is rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds," said Adib WIdayaka.
