The Ministry Of Social Affairs Ensures To Get A Social Security Budget Of IDR 78 Trillion In 2024
JAKARTA - Acting Secretary General of the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) Robben Rico ensured that his party received IDR 78 trillion from the 2024 Social Protection budget of IDR 496.8 trillion in the 2024 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN).
Robben said the Perlinsos budget was divided into several ministries and institutions and not only for the Ministry of Social Affairs.
"The budget for social assistance for the Ministry of Social Affairs in 2024 is IDR 78 trillion," Robben said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, December 2.
The Ministry of Social Affairs, he continued, will use the budget, including for the Family Hope Program (PKH), basic food assistance, the implementation of Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) for children, the elderly, people with disabilities, vulnerable groups, and orphans, as well as food assistance for the elderly and people with disabilities.
Including, he said, handling the impact of disasters and Social Lumbung, as well as the construction of Integrated Prosperous Houses, and the Nusantara Economic Heroes Empowerment Program (PENA).

Meanwhile, the Perlinsos budget through non-Ministry/Institutional expenditures (K/L) is planned at IDR 326.8 trillion. Such a large budget is allocated for the distribution of fuel subsidies, distribution of 3 kilograms of LPG cylinder subsidies, and distribution of KUR interest subsidies (People's Business Credit), as stated by the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani at the State Palace, Wednesday (29/11).
Meanwhile, around Rp92 trillion is the Perlinsos budget divided into the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) posts, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag), and the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), as well as local governments (Pemda) through Transfers to Regions (TKD).
