Reluctant To Respond To The Story Of 'Jokowi Intervention In The Setnov Case', Zulhas Chooses To Focus On Winning Prabowo-Gibran

JAKARTA - PAN General Chair (Ketum) Zulkifli Hasan alias Zulhas was reluctant to respond to former KPK chairman Agus Raharjo who admitted that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) intervened by the KPK in the e-KTP corruption case ensnared former Golkar chairman Setya Novanto (Setnov) in 2017.

According to Zulhas, the most important thing right now is that candidate pair Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who is promoted by the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM), can win the 2024 presidential election in just one round.

"We want to win one round, God willing, one round," said Zulhas at the Hotel Borobudur Jakarta, Friday, December 1.

The Minister of Trade reiterated that his main focus is currently only related to Prabowo-Gibran's victory in the 2024 presidential election.

"God willing, we will have one round," said Zulhas.

Zulhas instead asked that the response regarding Agus Raharjo's story about Jokowi asking to stop the e-KTP case be sent to law enforcement officials. He admitted that he did not know anything about it.

"Yes, ask the legal apparatus, yes, ask the authorities, I don't understand," he said.
