TikTok Becomes The Official Sponsor Of The 2020 UEFA Cup

JAKARTA - The short video application TikTok, officially becomes the global sponsor of UEFA EURO 2020. This is the first time a digital entertainment platform has sponsored the biggest soccer tournament in Europe.

Reporting from the official UEFA website, through this partnership, TikTok wants to strengthen its reputation as a home for football fans. They will also present a variety of new features to be immortalized in soccer matches.

Along with this partnership, UEFA EURO 2020 also launched an official TikTok account which will contain all the summary of matches and entertainment during the tournament. UEFA will also give TikTok access to its historical assets to develop highly engaging and innovative content.

This TikTok partnership also includes broadcast sponsorship rights, such as giving a place to the TikTok brand around the UEFA EURO 2020 live match program on all broadcast channels in Europe.

As a Global Sponsor, TikTok will also launch a variety of interesting features including AR effects, Hastag challenges, TikTok LIVE to promote the team, players and spectators watching the match.

After being postponed last year, the 2020 European Cup will be held from 11 June to 11 July 2021. Of course this match will be conducted with strict health standards and protocols, for the 24 teams that will compete on the green field.
