Ask The KPU To Immediately Improve The System After The DPT Elections Are Hacked, Ganjar: Find The Best People To Convincing
Presidential candidate (candidate) number three, Ganjar Pranowo asked the General Elections Commission (KPU) to look for the best people to deal with data hacking. This step must be taken to ensure that all parties have no problems in the future, especially those related to the system.
It is known that the KPU has recently been the target of cyber attacks. The perpetrator with an anonymous account named feasibility sold more than 200 million data on the Permanent Voter List (DPT) for Rp1.2 billion or US$74 thousand.
"Immediately the KPU will fix it, immediately protect it, immediately find the best person to be sure that the IT system is done," Ganjar told reporters at GBI Mawar Saron, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, Thursday, November 30.
Ganjar confirmed that this incident would be a concern for his party. He said the National Winning Team (TPN) was monitoring after learning about the hacking and sale of the personal data.
"TPN is also monitoring continuously and we want to know what the shortcomings are there. Our IT team is also trying to monitor continuously," he said.
In the future, he hopes that this kind of incident will no longer happen. Law enforcement officials are asked to intervene immediately.
"We hope that APH will act soon and the KPU will immediately improve, the system must not be vulnerable because this will make the public have negative analysis," said the former Governor of Central Java.
Previously reported, the Deputy for Politics 5.0 of the Ganjar-Mahfud Winning Team, Andi Widjajanto, had asked the KPU, the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo), and the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) to communicate and strengthen coordination. The goal is to tackle cyber attacks.
"We emphasize the communication between the KPU, Kominfo and BSSN to be really strengthened so that cases of hacking like this can be immediately overcome and ensured that they are prevented to ensure the election runs well," Andi said in a written statement, Wednesday, November 29.

Meanwhile, the cyber attack that occurred made the Deputy Chairperson of the Ganjar-Mahfud TPN, Andika Perkasa, ask about the prevention that had been carried out by the KPU. Do not let the data taken intervene in the KPU's decision.
"Especially related to digital. Because this is clearly in the hands of people who are not entitled so we have to get confidence from the KPU to be able to explain what troubleshooting is done by people who are not entitled and this is impossible to interfere with the election results later," he said.
