Discussing Press Independence, Ganjar Visits PWI Today

Presidential candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo is scheduled to visit the Central Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) Office located on Jalan Kebon Sirih, Gambir, Jakarta, Thursday 30 November. Ganjar is scheduled to arrive at the PWI Office at 09.45 WIB. However, until 10.15 WIB Ganjar has not arrived. The agenda to be held is to have a relaxed dialogue with the Press Council. The dialogue is expected to be witnessed by 100 offline participants, and broadcast live to 20,000 PWI members throughout Indonesia. Central PWI Chairman Hendry Ch Bangun said Ganjar would explain his vision and work program as a candidate for president of Indonesia. Not only that, the former Central Java Governor will hold a press release-related question. "Invited to the program's presentation, answer questions about press independence and so on," said Bangun when contacted by ANTARA in Jakarta, Thursday, November 30.
