KPK Recall Pius Lustrilanang In The Sorong Regent's Acting Case
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) plans to recall Member VI of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Pius Lustrilanang.
Pius was not present when he was about to be examined as a witness in the bribery case for the termination of the BPK examination in Sorong Regency, Southwest Papua on Monday, November 27.
"Investigators will schedule (re-call, ed) Thursday, November 30, 2023," said Head of the News Section Ali Fikri to reporters quoted on Wednesday, November 29.
Ali said Pius had confirmed his absence. "The reason for being sick and asking to be rescheduled to the investigative team," he said.
The KPK asked Pius to cooperate in fulfilling the investigator's summons. This is because the statement is needed to make light of the actions of the Acting Regent of Sorong Yan Piet Mosso.
"This is the second summons that we convey to the person concerned. We believe that the person concerned will be present because of course someone is summoned as a witness because his statement is needed," said Ali.
