18 Companies Open Job Vacancies In Kaltara

TANJUNG SELOR - A total of 18 companies offer more than 293 job vacancies at the Job Market Fair in 2023 which will be held at the Dharma Wanita Tanjung Selor Building.

Assistant for the Economy and Development of the North Kalimantan Provincial Secretariat, Bustan, explained that the work market consists of the agriculture, plantation, mining, trade and other services sectors.

"The people of Kaltara who are looking for job vacancies can take advantage of this job fair. This also helps absorb labor and reduce unemployment rates in this area," said Bustan, Tuesday, November 28.

In addition, ensuring job seekers in formal job markets provide efficient work market transaction facilities and socialize employment reports obligations to companies.

"This Job Fair is also considered a strategic opportunity to disseminate information related to job opportunities to the wider community, supporting regional economic growth," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Manpower and Transmigration Office (Disnakertrans) of Kaltara, Haerumuddin emphasized the importance of job fair as a positive initiative in supporting the local economy.

"The formal work market must be accessible to all circles, and this job fair is a means to equalize opportunities. In addition, we hope that participating companies can understand and carry out labor reporting obligations in accordance with applicable regulations," said Haerumuddin.

With the 74 positions offered from various sectors, it is hoped that the people of Kaltara can find career opportunities that are in accordance with their skills and interests.

"This is one of the concrete steps in supporting economic growth and reducing the unemployment rate in the Kaltara region," he concluded.
