Avoid Fatal Mistakes! Here Are Signs Of Mandatory Collision Cars To Pay Attention To
JAKARTA - Hunting used cars is indeed an attractive option for automotive lovers who want to save budget. However, prospective buyers need to be careful not to bring home used cars that have a history of accidents or collisions.
Before deciding to buy, there are several important things that need to be considered in order to avoid a detrimental used car. One of the automotive experts, Sudiryo from the Inspector JBA Indonesia, gave tips for identifying used cars that never had an accident.
According to Sudiryo, one of the signs that can be seen easily is the frame of the front engine hood. If you look curly, it means that the car is no longer according to factory standards.
"There are many ways that can even be seen with the naked eye, including the front engine hood section, if it is curly it means that factory standards are no longer standard," he said when met at the automotive auction simulation event "Media Auction Tour" in West Jakarta, Tuesday, November 28.
In addition, Sudiryo also highlighted the side of the car, especially on the top pillar. If it looks wavy or curly, it could be an indication that the car had an accident.
"If the side impact can be seen by the pillars of the roof, if it is bumpy it has been hit from the side," he added.
Not only the front and side, Sudiryo emphasized that the rear of the car also needs to be carefully inspected. Pillars surrounding the trunk can provide instructions on whether the car was involved in an accident.
"It can also be seen on the pillars that surround the trunk, if the shape is bumpy, it is a sign that the car had an accident," he explained.
Finally, Sudiryo suggested the use of coating crime tools to check the level of paint thickness in used cars. The high number of these tools can be a clue that the car has undergone massive improvements.
"It can also be checked through the coating threat tool to determine the level of paint thickness, when the number (in the tool) will be high," he concluded.
