Band BunGa Re-release Song Kasih Don't You Go
JAKARTA - BunGa is one of the bands that was quite well known in the 1990s. One of his best hits was entitled Kasih Don't You Go.
Recently, BunGa re-released Kasih Don't You Go. They present a more modern arrangement on the song.
Tony Vialy, the only surviving personnel, said the arrangement still follows the characteristics that are already attached to the song, even though it is made more modern.
"Although this song was re-released, we still maintain its main characteristics," said Tony in Senayan, South Jakarta, last week.
Some of the things that are made are different, including the sound of the keyboard and its vocals. The difference was made to suit the tastes of new listeners.
"There are not many changes, the piano keys are still there. Only different sounds are played. The songs are performed a little different," said Tony.
"It's just how old people are and can only enjoy. Even for the next 10 years generation," he continued.
Tony Vialy also talked about new personnel from BunGa at this time. He said there was another activity from the old personnel.
"Why are new friends because there are other activities from old friends. So I have to take this to go through," Tony explained.
For information, BunGa personnel currently consist of Tony Vialy (vocals), Owin (guitar), Pepe (guitar), Ogie (bass), and Michael (drums).
