Cuadrado Hamstring Injury, Will Be Absent In Three Juventus Matches

JAKARTA - Colombian Juan Cuadrado will miss three Juventus matches after suffering a hamstring injury, the Serie A champions said in a statement.

The 32-year-old player had to withdraw in the first half when Juventus lost 0-1 to Napoli at the weekend.

A medical examination showed that the 32-year-old, who played at right-back this season, had a hamstring injury.

Cuadrado will miss the Champions League last-16 away first leg against Porto on Thursday, as well as league games against Crotone and Hellas Verona.

"Juan Cuadrado underwent a test this morning at J | Medical which showed a minor injury to his right thigh," read a Juventus statement quoted by Antara, Monday, February 15. "In 10 days, he will be re-evaluated."

Juventus are eight points behind leaders Inter Milan in the Serie A standings, but have played fewer games.

Last weekend, the Old Lady lost 0-1 to Napoli. Napoli's single goal was scored by Lorenzo Insigne through the white point.

This is the first meeting between Napoli and Juve in the Italian league this season, as the match which was supposed to be played in Turin in October failed to play due to the COVID-19 case.

The match has not been rescheduled, but the two teams met in the Italian Super Cup last month, with Juve winning.
