Comfortable And Well Treated, Odegaard Discusses Arsenal's Opportunity To Be Permanent
JAKARTA - Martin Odegaard discussed the possibility of securing a permanent move from Real Madrid to Arsenal. The Norwegian midfielder admits anything is possible.
The 22-year-old player joined The Gunners in the winter transfer market on loan until the end of the season.
He made his full Premier League debut in Arsenal's 4-2 win over Leeds after only making two appearances from the bench.
Odegaard said that he put nothing aside about his future.
"You never know what will happen, but for now I'm just focused on doing my best this season and helping the team as much as possible," said Odegaard when asked TV2 if he could stay at Arsenal after the end of the 2020-21 season. Between on Monday.
Mikel Arteta hooked Odegaard to add creativity to the Arsenal squad.
Odegaard admits enjoying his time in England. "It's a little different, but I think I adapted pretty well. The way they got me into the team - my teammates - and how they treated me, as well as the manager and everyone at the club, they helped me from the first minute. "
"I feel very comfortable and part of the team, so it's easy to get into this team because of the way they are and the way they treat me," added Odegaard.
"I'm very happy to be here and I'm proud to be part of this team."
