Heru Budi Instructs Young DKI ASN To Continue Service Work Every Week
JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono instructed state civil servants (ASN) in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government who are still young to carry out community service every Sunday.
This is intended to continue the simultaneous work of thousands of ASN and other individual service providers (PJLP) in all city areas in DKI Jakarta which will begin today.
Heru said that this community service was often carried out by their predecessor ASN, under the name of the Silahturahmi program on Sunday Morning (SMP).
Heru's request was conveyed during the morning rally for a community service entitled "Our Death for Jakarta" on Jalan HM Margono Djojohadikusumo, Central Jakarta.
"My message is for young ASN to be able to continue this activity, which we started when we were staffed to leaders, always held a gathering on Sunday Morning. Today we start at least in our respective environments," said Heru, Sunday, November 19.
Today, Heru deployed around 2,000 of his subordinates to carry out community service starting the rainy season. Heru said this activity aims to ensure that rivers, reservoirs, setu, reservoirs as well as local channels and water ropes can function optimally.
"Today, we, the Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta, expect us all to do community service and work together to clean Jakarta. The river must be clean, we will clean the clogged channels and we will transport all the garbage in front of us. We do all of this to deal with flooding," explained Heru.
Heru emphasized that efforts to overcome flooding by maintaining the cleanliness of the City of Jakarta are not only the responsibility of the government. The community is also obliged to clean and maintain cleanliness in their respective environments.
"I urge all residents to take responsibility in their respective environments. We must build Jakarta together. Don't litter, and this morning we meet in the context of our service for Jakarta," he said.
