The Labuan Bajo Land Case, West Manggarai Regent, Wife And Adjutant Examined By The Prosecutor's Office
KUPANG - The Regent of West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Agustinus Ch Dulla, and his wife were investigated by corruption investigators of the NTT High Court. The examination was related to the alleged fabrication of the statements of two witnesses in the case of the transfer of government land assets in Labuan Bajo.
"Today the West Manggarai Regent and his wife are being questioned by the NTT High Prosecutor's Office in connection with the alleged fabrication of testimony by two suspects who gave different statements in court proceedings and to investigators at the NTT Prosecutor's Office", said the Head of Legal Information and Public Relations of the NTT High Prosecutor's Office, Abdul Hakim quoted Antara, Monday, February 15.
Abdul Hakim explained that the West Manggarai Regent, Augustnus Ch Dulla, was examined by investigators as a witness for suspects ZD and FH who had been detained by investigators for trying to obstruct the investigation by providing different information.
Different statements occurred when the suspect was examined by investigators as witnesses and when both were presented at the pretrial hearing at the Kupang Court.
Apart from the Regent Agustinus CH. Dulla said Abdul Hakim, wife of the West Manggarai Regent Maria Aloisia Malung Daduk was also questioned by the NTT High Court investigators.
Abdul Hakim said that the NTT Attorney General's Office investigators also conducted an examination of the Regent's aide, Agustinus Ch.Dulla, and one of the West Manggarai Regency officials.
According to Abdul Hakim, investigators have also summoned attorney Antonius Ali to be examined in connection with the alleged fabrication of testimony carried out by two suspects, namely ZD da FH in connection with the case of transfer of land assets of the West Manggarai government in Labuan Bajo.
