Wuling Officially Introduces New Electric Car, BinguoEV In Indonesia
JAKARTA - Wuling Motors (Wuling) today officially entered the pre-launch phase of its newest electric vehicle by displaying the exterior and interior of BinguoEV (read: Bing-go EV) at Atrium Circle, Summarecon Mall Serpong, Tangerang Regency.
In exhibitions that take place from today until November 19, visitors can see firsthand the exterior and interior of the BinguoEV and pre-book for Wuling's second electric car.
Wuling started EV development in 2014 in China and over time, Wuling has recorded significant achievements as a global electric vehicle manufacturer with experience and trust in the world. To date, as many as 1.6 million units of Wuling's electric car products have been enjoyed by consumers in various countries," said Arif Pramadana, Vice President of Wuling Motors, in his remarks, in Tangerang, Thursday, November 16.
BinguoEV combines iconic exterior designs and modern touch in an innovative environmentally friendly vehicle. In view of the tagline Drive Electric, Be The Icon, BinguoEV allows each user to become an icon in change towards sustainable mobility.
"After the success at Wuling Air ev, of course, we hope that the joy can be felt," said Dian Asmarani, Brand & Marketing Director of Wuling Motors.
The Binguo EV is offered with two types based on a distance of 333 km and 410 km. There are three color choices, namely Milk Tea, Galaxy Blue, and Mousse Green.
As additional information, BinguoEV itself was launched in China in March 2023 under the name tithoV.
After six months of launching in the country of origin, the electric car recorded sales figures of more than 120,000 units and made it one of the products that Wuling successfully launched for the electric vehicle segment in China.
"In Indonesia, Wuling started its innovation in producing electric vehicles since August 2022 through the launch of Air ev as our first electric car in the country. This product has successfully received a warm welcome from the public and has proven to be the best-selling EV car with more than 12,000 sales until October 2023," concluded Dian.
