Police Shoot Fugitive 4 Years Ago Of Murder Case In North Sulawesi Who Attack With Badik
MANADO - A joint police team has arrested a suspect who is a fugitive in the 2017 murder case at the mine site in Tatelu Village, North Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi.
Head of Public Relations of the North Sulawesi Regional Police, Kombes Jules Abraham Abast, said the suspect and evidence of a Badik type of sharp weapon were taken to the North Minahasa Police.
The arrest of the suspect is due to reports from the public that provide information on the suspect's whereabouts to the police.
"Thank you for your cooperation", said Abast as quoted by Antara, Sunday, February 14.
The man with the initials IS (30) was arrested by a joint team in Biga Village, North Kotamobagu, Saturday, February 13 evening.
At the time of the arrest, the suspect fought back and attacked the members using a Badik sharp weapon.
The team fired warning shots upward, but the perpetrators continued to attack. The police immediately shot the suspect.
The suspect is suspected of being involved in a murder case that occurred on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at the people's mining complex in Tatelu Village, Dimembe District, North Minahasa Regency.
The IS suspect and his partner, CS, looked for the victim's partner at the mine site, but only met the victim named Masri Pasambuna.
At that time there was also a fight and the suspect immediately stabbed the victim with a knife and hit her in the chest and back of the victim.
After acting, the suspect immediately fled the mine site.
