Total Patients Recovering From COVID-19 In Jakarta 293,538 People

JAKARTA - Patients who recovered positive for COVID-19 in Jakarta increased by 4,349 people, bringing the total to 293,538 people.

Based on data from the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta on the corona.jakarta.go.id page, in Jakarta, Sunday, February 14, Antara reported, with a total of 293,538 patients recovering, around 93.0 percent of the total positive cases of COVID-19 of 315,553 cases.

The number of patients still being treated or isolated, decreased by 1,898 people from 19,018 to 17,120 people.

Meanwhile, the additional positive COVID-19 cases in Jakarta on Sunday are 2,496 cases. This is the result of the swab examination on Saturday, February 13th on 10,916 specimens with results of 2,496 positive and 7,001 negative.

When compared to positive cases in the past week, the number of cases this week is the lowest compared to Saturday, February 13, 3,018 cases, Friday, February 12, 3,810 cases, Thursday, February 11, 2,514 cases, Wednesday, February 10, 3,309 cases, Tuesday, February 9 3,437 cases and Monday, February 8, 3,144 cases.

"Especially when compared with the increase, Sunday 4,213 cases which is the highest increase during the pandemic", wrote the report.

Of the total positive cases, 4,895 people died or 1.6 percent of the total positive cases.

From the number of tests, DKI Jakarta still recorded the percentage of positive cases based on the number of tests or the "positivity rate" of COVID-19 during the past week of 23.5 percent or far above the World Health Organization (WHO) stipulation of a maximum of five percent to be categorized as a safe area.

So, the percentage of positive cases in Jakarta in total since the beginning of the March 2020 pandemic to date is 10.9 percent.
