Polda Metro Jaya deployed 1,019 personnel to secure the U-17 World Cup which took place at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), today.

Meanwhile, today's match will bring together the New Caledonia national team against England and Brazil will face Iran.

"Polda Metro Jaya deployed 1,019 personnel to secure the grand U-17 World Cup which took place today," said Head of the Operations Bureau of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Marsudianto in his statement, Saturday, November 11.

Thousands of personnel will be alerted in zone 3 which includes the outside of JIS. They are placed at that point in accordance with FIFA rules.

"Based on the rules from FIFA, we carry out FIFA security in Zone 3, namely outside JIS Stadium," he said.

In addition, it was also emphasized that the personnel who were alerted were not equipped with firearms (senpi). This is because the security mechanism prioritizes a humanist method.

"We are carrying out international security measures so please carry out tasks with full responsibility," said Marsudianto.

In launching this international event, the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) will also implement traffic engineering during the U-17 World Cup. Three roads will be temporarily closed.

"There will be a limited closure at three locations (road sections)," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo.

The three roads include the intersection of the Sunter Permai Raya-Jalan RE. Martadinata Train, the Sunter Permai Raya Street intersection - Bisma Raya Street, and the Lake Sunter Barat-North Lake Street intersection.

This traffic engineering will take effect from November 11 to 24. The limited closure of these three roads will start at 12.00 WIB to 24.00 WIB.

However, in this traffic engineering scheme there are several vehicles that are excluded, namely VIP or VVIP guests to player transportation vehicles.

With the closure of this road, parking spaces are provided for people who want to watch the world football match.

"For spectators of the FIFA U-17 World Cup to park their vehicles in two parking facilities, namely at C3 Kemayoran and at JIEXPO," said Syafrin.
