President Jokowi Inaugurates The Tukul Dam In East Java, One Of The National Strategic Projects

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo left for East Java (Jatim) to inaugurate the Tukul Dam, which is located in Tukul Village, Pacitan District, East Java.

President Jokowi left with a limited group. Taking off for the Adisutjipto Air Force Base, Sleman District, Yogyakarta Special Region using the Indonesian presidential plane-1 from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, Sunday, February 14.

From Sleman, as reported by Antara, the journey continues to the location of the inauguration of the Tukul Dam by the Indonesian Air Force Super Puma helicopter.

To note, the Tukul Dam is one of the National Strategic Projects (PSN) which aims to increase the water storage capacity in the surrounding area so that the irrigation water supply will be maintained.

The presence of a dam can be useful as a source of raw water, energy, flood control, and tourism that will grow the local economy.

Participating in the working visit included Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, Presidential Military Secretary National Army (TNI) M. Tonny Harjono, and Presidential Guard, Commander Maj. Gen. Agus Subiyanto.
