Bengkulu Province Health Office Records A Payment Arrears For Health Workers Of IDR 124 Million

JAKARTA - The Mukomuko District Health Office, Bengkulu Province, noted that the arrears in incentive payments for health workers (Nakes) under the auspices of 17 public health centers and health offices reached IDR 124 million.

The arrears are calculated from September 2017 to December 2020. That was the statement of the Secretary of the Mukomuko District Health Office, Bustam Bustomo in a statement quoted from Antara, Sunday, February 14.

This year, Mukomuko District received a Special Allocation Fund (DAK) of IDR 2.1 billion to pay incentives for health workers at health centers, health offices, and hospitals that handle COVID-19 from the central government.

The Special Allocation Fund of that size is used to pay incentive arrears for health workers who handle COVID-19 starting from September-December 2020 and 2021.

"There is a letter from the Ministry of Health, even if there are incentives arrears for health workers that have not been paid the previous year, they can be paid starting from September to December 2020", he said.

Furthermore, his party will enter the incentive arrears data to the Regional Inspectorate of Mukomuko Regency.

"We have prepared incentive arrears data for health workers at the health center and health office, then enter it to the inspectorate for verification, but we are waiting for the incentive arrears data for health workers at the hospital", he said.

The Health Office has asked the Regional Public Hospital (RSUD) to submit incentive arrears data for health workers so that the data can be immediately submitted to the inspectorate for verification.

Then the verification results are submitted to the central government to get a recommendation for the disbursement of the incentive funds.
