Running The Erick Thohir Program, PTPP Distributes Aid To Three Flood Disaster Locations

JAKARTA - PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP), one of the state-owned construction companies, provided flood disaster emergency response assistance in three areas in Central Java, namely Pekalongan, Kudus, and Semarang.

The first flood emergency response assistance was handed over by the Company's Corporate Secretary Bureau Team to the Pekalongan Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) on Thursday 11 February. The assistance provided consists of ready-to-eat food (instant noodles, biscuits), mineral water, rice, satay equipment (masks, hand sanitizers), toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, towels), children's and baby necessities (milk boxes, baby diapers), blankets, sarongs, and other needs of flood victims.

After handing over aid in the Pekalongan area, PTPP moved to the Kudus area to help distribute flood disaster relief in the area. The flood disaster assistance was provided by representatives of the Company's Project Team through the Public Kitchen Post at Yayasan Nusantara Satu Kudus.

"The assistance provided is in the form of basic food packages (rice, cooking oil, sugar, eggs), mineral water, sanitary napkins, baby diapers, and milk", said Yuyus Juarsa, Corporate Secretary of PTPP in a written statement, Saturday, February 13.

PTPP also handed over flood disaster relief to the Semarang area on Friday 12 February. Unlike in the previous two cities, in Semarang PTPP provided disaster relief in the form of five rubber boats.

The company handed over four rubber boats through the Semarang City BPBD and one rubber boat was handed over to the Sayung Demak Flood Command Post at Sayung Police.

In addition to the social assistance provided by the Company's Head Office, the Semarang Demak Toll Road Project Team and the Owner of PT PP Semarang Demak (PPSD) also helped flood victims by providing food packages, blankets, clothes, rubber boats, and buoys in the Sayung Demak area. The provision of flood disaster assistance in the Sayung Demak area was also handed over by the Sayung Police which functions as the Sayung Demak Flood Command Post on Friday, February 12.

"PTPP will continue to work together and coordinate with various parties to synergize in distributing disaster assistance to flood disaster victims, which is done by the company as an effort to ease the burden on society and accelerate post-disaster recovery. In addition, this assistance is in line with the State-Owned Corporation (BUMN) program, namely 'BUMN for Indonesia'",said Yuyus Juarsa.
