Through Audition, Stinky Decides New Format With 2 Vocalists

JAKARTA - The Stinky band finished holding an audition to find a new vocalist in an event titled Got Talent Vocalist Audition Stinky which was held at Dopi Cafe, Tangerang Kota, on Wednesday, November 8.

After going through several stages of audition, both online and offline, Ferdy and Rendra were elected as two vocalists of Stinky.

Meanwhile, the two vocalists were selected after going through the judging system carried out by Agusta Marzall, Dik Doank and one of Stinky's loyal fans, Ade.

With the remaining three vocalists, Stinky is now complete with a format of five personnel, Ferdy (vocals), Rendra (vocals), Irwan (bass), Edy (drums), and Nano (guitar).

Irwan said the formation chosen at this time was a challenge for Stinky as a band. The reason is, the format of two vocalists has never been tried before.

However, Irwan believes that the combination of Stinky colors has been going on for a long time with the novelty brought by two new vocalists.

"What is certain is happy. And this is a challenge for the three of us, the five added two more. Because we are not used to the existence of two vocalists," said Irwan after the audition.

"So, we must be able to share their voices, form them not too far from yesterday's Stinky, but give a new color in Indonesia. This is a challenge for us," he continued.

Meanwhile, the decision to use two vocalists has been discussed by three Stinky personnel, management and several senior musicians.

Irwan also said that Ferdy and Rendra's vocal characteristics would be very interesting if combined. They are enthusiastic about starting new projects to come.

Meanwhile, Ferdy and Rendra could not hide their pride after being elected from hundreds of singers who auditioned.

"I feel proud and happy to be joining the band Stinky. We know Stinky's works," said Rendra.

"I'm happy and proud that in the past I was only able to listen to Stinky's songs, now I can join in. Hopefully this can return to enlivening Indonesian music even cooler," said Ferdy.
