Mayor of Bogor, Bima Arya Sugiarto, said in Bogor City, Saturday, that the three motorbike riders who violated the odd-even rule for motor vehicles were given administrative sanctions, in the form of maximum fines.

"The three motorbike riders have completed the fine sanctions", he said.

On this occasion, Bima Arya also expressed his appreciation to the Bogor City Police for arresting fashion riders who violated the odd-even rules in Bogor City, Friday, February 12.

According to Bima, since the news that the Moge convoy in Bogor City did not check on the odd-even raid, Friday, February 12, a number of Bogor City residents complained because they felt they were being treated unfairly.

Bima reminded residents of Bogor City and its surroundings to comply with existing regulations. "This is also a message to all people, that we are not indiscriminate, anyone who violates the rules will be prosecuted", he said.

Previously, the joint team from the Bogor City Police had succeeded in identifying motorbike drivers who broke through the odd-even raids of motorized vehicles in Bogor City without being examined.

Kapolresta Bogor Kota, Big Commissioner Susatyo Purnomo Condro, in Bogor City, Saturday, said the joint team from Bogor City Police, collected evidence in the form of videos and other information to be identified. "On Saturday early this morning, our team managed to identify the motorbike riders", he said.

According to Susatyo, out of the 12 motorbike riders from Jakarta and Tangerang, only three riders violated their license plates, which did not comply with the odd-even rules. "Last Friday, February 12, was an even date. The three riders had odd license plates", he said.

Susatyo emphasized that the action against the three mode riders was not taking action against traffic violations, but violations of enforcement of health protocols according to the rules in Bogor Mayor Regulation Number 107 of 2020.
