Juicy Luicy's Message For Other Musicians After Bringing Home The Cup At The 2023 AMI Awards
JAKARTA - Juicy Luicy won the 2023 AMI Awards in the Best Duo/Pop Group category. They excel from Fleet, For Revenge, Ungu, and Yovie & Nuno.
Julian Emperor (vocals), Denis Ligia (guitar), Zamzam YM (saxophone), Dwi Nugroho (drums), and Bina Bagja (bass) looked happy when they received the AMI Awards for the first time.
The personnel admitted that they had dreamed of winning and bringing home the Ami Awards for a long time.
"From the start, I really wanted to get this trophy," said Denis Ligia when met at the JIExpo Convention Center and Theater, North Jakarta, Wednesday, November 8.
"Anyway, friends who have big dreams too, just keep going. If your heart trembles to choose music as your way, continue, God willing, you can," said Julian Emperor.
Juicy Luicy did not expect to win in the Best Duo/Group Pop category. They actually championed For Revenge to bring home the trophy.
Bandar asal Bandung itu merasa perjalanan mereka tahun ini masih kurang maksimal. Namun, kemim membawa pulang piala justru datang ketika menyerahan, karena pengalaman gagal sebelumnya.
"Last time I got the nomination, it's actually just a nomination, because I lost. Now I don't think so," said Julian.

"It's just that we are most surprised that this year we haven't released an album, it's just a single, so we don't expect it to actually get this year," Denis continued.
Victory at the 2023 AMI Awards is Juicy Luicy's biggest achievement so far. They hope to be more optimal in working in the coming year.
"I want it to be in the future, maybe our second album. Hopefully later we will get this (piala) again," concluded Julian Emperor.
