A Total Of 8.683 Southeast Sulawesi Residents Recovered From COVID-19
JAKARTA - The Southeast Sulawesi COVID-19 Handling Task Force Team said that 8.683 residents in the province had recovered from SARS-CoV-2 infection after there were an additional 114 people as of February 12.
A spokesperson for the Southeast Sulawesi COVID-19 Handling Task Force, La Ode Rabiul Awal, said the additional cases recovered this time were more than the additional new positive cases.
"Today, most patients recovered from South Konawe Regency 60 people, second from North Kolaka 41 people, Kolaka eight people and Bombana five people", he said in Kendari, Friday, reported by Antara, February 12.
Rabiul also said that there were only 26 positive patients, bringing the total positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the province to 9.798 people.
He mentioned the details of today's new positive cases, one each from Bombana and Wakatobi Districts. Then Buton and South Buton, two people each, North Kolaka four people, Kendari City three people and Baubau 12 people.
"There are no additional cases of death, there are still 188 recorded", he said.
The distribution of 188 cases died in Southeast Sulawesi, namely South Buton Regency to four people, East Kolaka five people, North Kolaka 10 people, Kolaka 14 people, Konawe 17 people, Konawe Selatan 14 people, Muna 13 people, Buton and Bombana eight people each.
Next, North Buton District, seven people, then Wakatobi, West Muna, and Central Buton, two people each, North Konawe Regency and Konawe Islands, one each, Kendari City 57 people and Baubau 23 people.
He said, although currently in all regions, namely 17 regencies/cities, they have carried out a COVID-19 vaccine injection program, this is still prioritized for health workers.
Therefore, he asked all people in carrying out activities to comply with health protocols to protect themselves from the transmission of COVID-19 and reduce the number of cases in the area.
"We hope that all people obey 3M when carrying out activities, use masks, maintain distance, and diligently wash their hands with soap in running water so that we can reduce the number of COVID-19 cases", said the man who is familiarly called Doctor Wayong.
