Odd-even Violations In Bogor City, 63 Vehicles Were Fined Rp.50 Thousand
BOGOR - A total of 63 motorized vehicle drivers who violated the odd-even rule in Bogor City were sanctioned with a fine of Rp50,000 each and an oral warning by the joint team from the Bogor City Government and Bogor Police.
Head of Bogor City Satpol PP, Agustian Syah, said that as many as 63 motorized vehicles were given administrative sanctions in the form of fines at two locations, namely at the Ex-Wangun Terminal Post and at the "Check Point" Tugu Kujang.
"In the Ex-Wangun Terminal Post, there are 32 vehicles and at the Tugu Kujang 'Check Point' there are 31 vehicles. Each vehicle will be given an administrative sanction of IDR 50,000 fine and verbal warning to comply with the rules," Agus said as quoted by Antara, Friday, February 12.
According to Agus, as many as 63 motorized vehicles, both cars and motorbikes, were sanctioned with fines, for violating the odd-even rules for motorized vehicles implemented by the Bogor City Government.
"The vehicles are still daring to pass, even though at the Sekat Post and the 'Check Point' a prohibited sign has been installed, for vehicles whose number plates do not match the date on the calendar," he said.
Agus added, the fines given are the lowest sanctions stipulated in Bogor Mayor Regulation Number 107 of 2020, namely a fine of Rp. 50,000 to Rp. 250,000 for individuals who violate health regulations in the prevention of COVID-19 in Bogor City.
According to him, during the odd-even application raids for motorized vehicles, the joint team from the Bogor City Government and Bogor Police netted 136 motorized vehicles in the two locations for 3.5 hours, from 08.00 to 11.30 WIB.
Of the 136 vehicles, 73 motorbikes were given social sanctions in the form of verbal warnings to comply with health protocols and odd-even rules imposed by the Bogor City Government.
Agus said that the odd-even implementation raids in the City of Bogor have set up six Sekat Post and five "Check Points" in Bogor City, from Friday to Sunday, February 14th.
The six bulkheads prepared are the Yasmin Sekat Post, the BORR Toll Road, the Baranangsiang Toll Gate, the Ex Wangun Terminal, the Veteran Gas Station, and Bubulak.
The seven "Check Points" are the Check Point for the Intersection of the Fountain, Bantarjati, Tugu Kujang, Batutulis, and Jembatan Merah.
