Central Jakarta Police Chief Asks Masses To Show Respect For Session Decisions At The Constitutional Court Building
Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said his party deployed as many as 1998 joint force personnel from the TNI and Polri to secure the implementation of the trial decision for alleged violations of the Constitutional Court's code of ethics (MK) in front of the Constitutional Court Building, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, November 7.
"We are ready to secure the implementation of the Constitutional Court's decision today, by deploying 1998 joint personnel from the Metro Jaya Police, Central Jakarta Metro Police, TNI and DKI Jakarta Provincial Government," Kombes Susatyo told reporters, Tuesday, November 7.
Thousands of joint personnel were stationed in the Monas area and the Constitutional Court building. Meanwhile, for the diversion of traffic flow, Kombes Susatyo said it was still situational.
"We pay attention to the situation and conditions and escalation in the field," he said.
Kombes Susatyo appealed to the protesters to respect each other among supporters of the mass action.
"Whatever decision is suspected of violating the code of ethics which will be decided by the Honorary Council of the Constitutional Court (MKMK) today, must respect each other," he said.

Previously, the Honorary Council of the Constitutional Court (MKMK) would read out the verdict against the alleged violation of the code of ethics and behavior of the constitutional judge today.
The plenary session for the pronunciation of the Constitutional Court's decision on the report against the Chairman of the Constitutional Mahakamah (MK) Anwar Usman and the eight judges of the Constitutional Court was held at 16.00 WIB at the Constitutional Court building, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Central Jakarta.
The decision on the handling of the MKMK case will be read out by the Chief Justice of the MKMK and concurrently Member, Jimly Asshiddiqie (community figure), Secretary concurrently Member of the MKMK, Wahiduddin Adams (constitutional judge), and Member of the MKMK, Bintan R. Saragih (law academic).
The Constitutional Court has received 21 reports of alleged violations of the ethics of the Constitutional Court judge on the Constitutional Court's decision Number 90/PUU-XXI/2023 which allows regional heads not yet 40 years old to run as presidential and vice presidential candidates.
