Bali Governor Wayan Koster Asks Menkes To Disburse Incentives For Health Workers Who Have Not Received 5 Months
DENPASAR - Bali Governor Wayan Koster hopes that the central government will disburse the incentives for health workers who have not been paid by 2020.
"To the Minister, we convey the incentive payment for health workers in 2020 until August, so the rest is not yet. For that, we hope that it can be disbursed immediately," said Koster, quoted by Antara, Friday, February 12.
Governor Koster in the virtual PPKM Micro Evaluation Coordination Meeting on Thursday, February 11 hoped that the incentives for health workers could be disbursed immediately, given the increasing burden of duties and responsibilities of medical personnel, related to the increasing number of positive cases of COVID-19.
He added, since the implementation of the Ministry of Home Affairs Instruction No. 03/2021 starting February 9, 2021, the development of positive cases of COVID-19 in Bali still shows dynamic conditions at 300 cases per day.
However, the condition is improving as seen from the side of the cure rate which continues to show an increase reaching 87.23 percent of the total cases that occur.
Other things related to the implementation of PPKM Micro that were reported by the Governor of Bali included the implementation of PPKM in accordance with the decision of the meeting with the regents / mayors of all regencies / cities in Bali to implement PPKM based on villages or wards based on the instructions of the Minister of Home Affairs.
All villages in Bali apply PPKM with a 'treatment' level according to the existing zoning. For the red zone there are 141 villages or sub-districts, orange zone 132 villages, yellow zone 110 villages and green zone 333 villages / kelurahan, a total of 716 villages / wards in Bali. So the emphasis on all red zone areas will be even tighter, "he said.
Regarding the formation of a mutual cooperation task force in Bali, it is already at the implementation stage, considering that in Bali previously a customary village-based task force had been formed.
It is also reported that the average occupancy rate of referral hospital is at 70 percent, the implementation of the second phase of vaccination for health workers will be carried out on February 21, 2021.
