Do Not Miss The Name Political Legend, Ahok: What I Miss Is The Good Name Of Nationalist Fighters
Jakarta - Former DKI Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok or BTP admitted that he had never thought of becoming a legend in the world of Indonesian politics. His longing is for all Indonesian people to fight for Pancasila.
"I think it is called a legend, whether it fits or doesn't fit. But if there is an ancient Chinese saying, that before the sound of four nails on our coffins, we cannot claim what we are," said Ahok.
Ahok conveyed this when answering a question from Agustina Hermanto or commonly known as Tina Toon, at the 2021 Chinese New Year celebration held by the PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) DPP with the theme 'Imlekan Bareng Banteng', on Friday, February 12.
"What I miss and what I hope for in my life, I still have a good name as a nationalist fighter in a party like the PDI Perjuangan, as before. And now that good name remains. Not a legend or not a legend. That is our hope. , "added Ahok.
"My longing, as our compatriots and homeland, we fight for the basic foundation of Pancasila. And for what purpose? To realize social justice for all Indonesian people," said Ahok.
So BTP invites all Indonesian people to stand firmly and firmly for truth, justice, humanity, and of course for the progress of the Indonesian nation.
"That's the most important thing. That's why I pray, at the end of life, I have that good name," said Ahok.
