Eye Yoga, Techniques For Overcoming Tired Eyes And Increasing Focus On Vision
JAKARTA - Since more and more people experience eye fatigue due to staring at gadgets too often, eye yoga is one of the most practiced exercises. This exercise can relieve some eye problems such as eye pain, eye fatigue, sore, itching, sensitivity to light, blurred vision, and headaches.
Just like yoga in general, eye yoga also aims to increase eye flexibility so that the focus of vision can be improved. The eye yoga movement is very easy to do. You can also practice it anytime and anywhere.

Gaze at the Object for 20 MinutesFind a distant object and stare at it without blinking for 20 seconds. Then, place your thumb under the object and slide the eye focus between the object and the tip of the thumb.
Move the eyeball up and downTo give your eyes a sharper look, try moving your eyeballs up as much as possible for three seconds. Then, move down again for three seconds. Do this movement five times and end by closing your eyes for five seconds. That way, the ability to see will be better because the eye muscles are flexible again.
Move the eyeball to the top right and bottom leftMove the eye to the right angle to the maximum then hold for three seconds. After that, continue by moving the eye to the lower left to the maximum. Hold also for three seconds. Repeat this yoga sequence four times. Finally, close your eyes for five seconds.
Eyeball movement to the top left and bottom rightJust like the movement above, you only need to move the eyeball to the top left side for three seconds then to the bottom right for three seconds as well. Then, repeat this movement for four times and then finish by closing your eyes for five seconds.
Repetitive circular circular movementsThe next eye yoga technique is by moving the eyeball in all directions. Starting with looking up, right, down, left, and back to the original position. Do this five times. After that, close your eyes and try to stay relaxed. This yoga movement can help your vision be sharper and clearer, as long as this activity is done regularly.
ClosingAs a series of closing movements, you can rub your hands together to generate heat. Place your palms over closed eyes until you feel your eyes absorb the warmth.
