Joe Biden: Donald Trump's Not Working On COVID-19 Vaccinations!

JAKARTA - President of the United States (US) Joe Biden revealed that the vaccination program that was inherited by Donald Trump was worse than he expected.

President Biden also asked the American people to be patient and optimistic about the implementation of vaccinations. He also said that the government had purchased more than 200 million COVID-19 vaccines.

"We are not going to fix everything for a while, but we will fix it," Biden said in remarks at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, Thursday local time, reported Reuters.

With demand for vaccines far exceeding supply, Americans are struggling to secure promises for their vaccinations, leaving Biden with acute problems, less than a month after being sworn in to replace Donald Trump.

President Biden said Trump did not order enough vaccines and did not do enough to keep people in line to get vaccinated. He also revealed that his transition team had been misled about the supply of the COVID-19 vaccine.

"While scientists did their job of finding a vaccine in such a short time, my predecessor, not doing his job, was not working on preparing for the huge challenge of vaccinating the hundreds of millions," growled Biden.

He added that the US Government has signed a contract for 100 million doses of Moderna's vaccine and 100 million more from Pfizer to help achieve the vaccination program's target.

"We have now bought enough vaccines to vaccinate all Americans," he concluded.
