Jusuf Kalla Reminds Hospitals Not To Forget The Social Side
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Jusuf Kalla said that hospitals (RS) should not forget the social side when dealing with patients, although some are required to generate profits. "The current hospital service management is divided into three types, namely the government, which is managed by a combination of the community and a corporate hospital. However, the hospital must not forget the social side when dealing with patients," he said in Padang Panjang as reported by Antara, Saturday, November 4.
Jusuf Kalla said that during the laying of the first stone for the construction of the New Islamic Hospital (RSI) Ibnu Sina Padang Panjang accompanied by the Governor of West Sumatra, Mahyeldi.
RSI Ibnu Sina continues to improve quality and services so that it is able to always adapt to current conditions.Jusuf Kalla hopes that in the future RSI Ibnu Sina will continue to strive for the best service for the community by improving the quality of doctors, medical equipment, and hospitality (quality of nursing services). Meanwhile, West Sumatra Governor Mahyeldi said, RSI Ibnu Sina or what is widely known in West Sumatra as Yarsi Hospital, so that the drug has directly improved the quality of health services in West Sumatra, whose estuary certainly affects the West Sumatra Community Development Index (IPM) figure which is currently quite well calculated. "In addition to medical services, what distinguishes RSI Ibnu Sina from other hospitals is a religious health service approach, so that the drug is not only on the medical side, but also on the spiritual side," he said.

He said, RSI Ibnu sina combines a pattern of treatment that is very integrated with the daily lives of the people of West Sumatra, which adheres to the Basandi Indi-Syarak Basandi Bookullah (ABS-SBK) philosophy. The role of hospitals in this case is very important, especially in providing health services for pregnant women, mothers giving birth, as well as infant-age children to toddlers. "RSI Ibnu Sina Padang Panjang is currently in a comfortable area to support recovery and health. The environment is very supportive, so that the existence of this hospital is highly responded positively to by the community. Of course, the improvement in building facilities will also improve the quality of services at RSI Ibnu Sina Padang Panjang," he said.
