Update On COVID-19 As Of February 11: New Cases Of 8.435, Accumulated 1.191.990 Cases
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) releases the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 today. A total of 71.511 specimens were examined with the results of 8.435 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia reached 1.191.990 people and active cases as many as 166.492", data quoted from the Ministry of Health, Thursday, February 11.
Today's cases increased by 10.145 cases, so that a total of 993.117 people recovered. Then, positive confirmed cases that died increased by 214 people and the total was 32.381 people.
The province with the newest cases is in DKI Jakarta with 2.514 cases and a total of 303.715 cases. Followed by West Java, which has 1.059 new cases with a total of 138.546 cases. East Java has 1.044 new cases and a total of 170.642 cases. Then, Central Java has 986 new cases and a total of 119.479 cases.
The province with the most cases recovered today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an increase of 4.004 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an increase of 1.127 recovered cases, East Java with an increase of 818 recovered cases, and Central Java with an increase of 751 recovered cases.
No province reported having zero new cases as of today. The province that reported the fewest new cases was Maluku with 10 cases.
In addition, the number of specimens examined reached 9.862.240. In detail, a total of 9.788.221 specimens were examined using real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and 145.530 using a molecular rapid test (TCM).
"The cumulative positive result per number of people examined or a positivity rate of 18.1 percent", he wrote.
For the number of people suspected of having contracted COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, it was recorded at 76.911 people. Currently, 510 districts/cities from 34 provinces have cases of COVID-19.
Currently, 1.017.186 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 345.605 vaccines in the second dose. Meanwhile, the total vaccination targets reached 181.554.465 people.
