This Rock Musician Made A Guitar From The Skeleton Of His Dead Uncle

JAKARTA - Yaago Anax changed the skeleton of his deceased uncle into an electric guitar. The rock musician, whose stage name is Prince Midnight, said that bringing his uncle back to life in the form of an instrument was a perfect tribute.

Yaago's uncle, Filip was tragically killed in a car accident in Athens, Greece in the 1990s at the age of 28. Initially, Yaago donated his uncle's skeleton to a local college and it was medically prepared for school.

After 20 years, however, the skeleton ended up in a funeral for which the Yaago's family had to pay. Meanwhile, if it is cremated, orthodoxy does not allow it.

"So I went to take the body back here to Florida. I got a box of bones from Greece and didn't initially know what to do. Bury it? Cremate it? Put it in the attic? All seems like a bad way to remember someone who brought me to heavy metal music", Yaago told the Daily Star, Thursday, February 11.

"So, I decided to turn Uncle Filip into a guitar, which proved challenging".

Yaago hopes guitar specialists will take the job. But he claims the idea of making a guitar out of a real skeleton was huge homework for them. So, there was only one choice: he had to make fun of it himself.

Nonetheless, this hotelier consulted two people at Dean Guitar's woodshop in Tampa. However, they broke out in cold sweat. The idea of making guitars out of human skeletons seemed to give them chills.

Assembling a 'skeletar' so that it can be played and sounded as great as any other guitar, not without challenges and setbacks. However, Yaago is proud of the result. The spare parts for the guitar were from the Fender Telecaster so Yaago named him Filip Skelecaster.

Now, Yaago is preparing his newest EP (mini album). With the help of 'skeletar', the musician is ready to give birth to emotional works.

"Now Uncle Filip can shred for eternity. That's what he wants. I am very proud of this project and how this guitar functions to honor him, his life, and his influence on me".
