Taylor Swift Becomes Male In The Man's Music Video
JAKARTA - Singer Taylor Swift released a music video for her latest album, entitled The Man. This track will be the 5th single he has released after previously releasing the music video for Lover.
In the music video for The Man, Swift transforms into a man who lives his life successfully. The four-minute video features a man who is successful at everything. His life is filled with partying and being a leader.
In the morning, he high five with a bunch of hands after screwing a woman. The scene switches when he is partying and winning a tennis competition.
The video ends with the actor walking to the director and asking about his appearance but the director, starring Swift, asks the actor to be sexier and look likeable.
Just sitting here pondering how happy I am that The Man music video is OUT. I want to say thank you to so many people- Gotta thank @TheRock for voicing The Man and for being so supportive of my music for years (and now my directorial debut!) - pic.twitter.com/6G9G21Lw8J

As a singer who has worked since he was young, the singer who was born on December 13 feels bitter and sweet. This stands out from the first lyrics.
“They'd say I played the field before I found someone to commit to. And that would be okay for me to do, "said Taylor in the first part of this song.
Swift's lyrics seem to be intended for people who often call her, she can only write songs about her ex-boyfriend.
"This is a sexist opinion. Nothing said Ed Sheeran. Nobody said Bruno Mars. They all write songs about their former lovers, their love lives, and no one raises red flags here, "said Swift in an interview for the 1989 album.
The Chorus of The Man performs the same thing. The lyrics of “I'm so sick of running as fast as I can. Wondering if I'd get there quicker if I was a man. " demonstrates Swift's attitude towards gender inequality that often harms women.
Generally, men take precedence over women in terms of work, family, and others. Swift wondered if her career could have gone any faster if she were a man? So that's why this music video focuses the man in the main role.
The singer from Pennsylvania was sexually assaulted in 2013 backstage on a concert tour. However, when Swift dared to report this matter, not a few questioned the clothes she was wearing - which might provoke the suspect to do this.
Swift also briefly referred to Leonardo Dicaprio, a seasoned actor in the lyrics I'd be just like Leo in Saint-Tropez. It's no secret that at the age of 44, Dicaprio has never dated a woman over the age of 25.
Even when this song was released, Dicaprio was in a relationship with a 21 year old girl. Swift's personal life, who often date someone under her age or above, is the subject of ridicule.
She has dated Harry Styles which is a few years apart from her and it makes Swift look like a player. Some media also often alert male actors or artists to avoid being approached by Swift.
In his music video, he also features a lot of Easter eggs. Some of them reproduced the film Wolf of Wall Street, starring Dicaprio.
He also invited some of his closest people such as his father Scott Swift, influencers Jayden Bartels and Dominic Toliver and Tik Tok star, Loren Gray.
The voice at the end of the music video dialogue is filled by Dwayne Johnson or The Rock. This pop song is proof that Swift wants to voice what women feel in life.
Songs like this he had wanted to write for a long time because of the loss of the double standard that people often pointed to him. Not to forget, through his Twitter account, he gave his appreciation to all the men and women who participated in The Man's music video.
Directed by Taylor Swift, the music video for The Man was released on February 28. Lover albums can also be listened to physically and digitally.
