Rihanna And LVMH End Fenty's Fashion Business
JAKARTA - Within two years, singer Rihanna and the brand Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH) closed the fashion brand Fenty.
To WWD on Wednesday, February 10, LVMH confirmed the news. They decided to end the business for better conditions.
Launching The Independent, Thursday, February 11, financial problems are likely to be the main reason. When discussing the results in 2020, they don't yet know what the market can offer.
"Of course we have Rihanna's help for this, but I can say it's still a work in progress."
Fenty's final upload was also distributed on January 1, which was a pair of glasses from Fenty's collection.
LVMH is a fashion line that houses the Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Givenchy brands. They work with Rihanna who owns the Fenty business. The two launched Fenty in Paris in May 2019.
At its release, LVMH said the brand will focus on Rihanna and her vision to create various ready-to-wear collections. Goods on offer range from US $ 300 to US $ 900.
As the Fenty fashion brand closes, LVMH will develop another Fenty line: Fenty Beauty cosmetics, Fenty Skin, and Savage x Fenty which have recently secured funding from L Catterton.
