The former Santos and Barcelona forward was one of the regular players who started against Caen in the French Cup last 64 as coach Mauricio Pochettino rotated his squad.
PSG scored just after the second half started in the 49th minute thanks to Moise Kean's shot, who received a cross from Neymar.
However, their excitement turned to anxiety when Neymar picked up an injury in the 64th minute.
Neymar had to leave the pitch, and Kylian Mbappe was called up from the bench to replace his partner.
PSG won the match 1-0, but now have to wait nervously for a medical examination of Neymar's condition.
