Bekasi Metro Police Have Named A Woman With The Initials KH As A Suspect In Threats
JAKARTA - The Bekasi Metro Police have named a woman with the initials KH as a suspect in threatening actions. Previously, the conclusion was reported by her ex-husband, Arief Suryo Pranowo alias Acun to the Jatiasih Police, Bekasi City, regarding acts of intimidation and threats with sharp weapons.
Vitalis Jenarus, as the attorney for Arief Suryo Pranoto, explained the chronology of the incident that happened to his client.
"On August 29, 2022, several people together with the suspect took the complainant's belongings out of the workshop warehouse, at which time the reporter was in his office in the building right in front of the warehouse. The complainant saw the actions of several people with the suspect through CCTV," Vitalis said in a statement, quoted Wednesday, October 25.
Arief at that time tried to ask his ex-wife's intention to bring the items. However, when they came to the perpetrators, they got into an argument.
In fact, according to Vitalis, KH took a sharp weapon in the form of a sickle and threatened Arief. At that time, Arief ran for safety.
"Pak Arief asked KH to stop the act of removing the goods. KH refused Pak Arief's request and there was a stabbing. The suspect still forced to remove the goods and the complainant also asked to stop and not allow the suspect to act arbitrarily," Vitalis explained.
"KH then got angry and took a sickle," he added.
Feeling threatened by the suspect, the complainant left the scene, while the suspect was blocked by several people there.
"The sickles were secured by the people there," he said.
However, KH asked the people to return their sickles for fear of becoming evidence.
"He said if 'Acun' doesn't return sickles, then he threatens to kill," Vitalis said.
Vitalis added, when he found out that the reporter had returned to his office, the perpetrator immediately went to Acun to his office with a sharp knife in his hand.
"Several reporting employees tried to obstruct the suspect, but because the suspect threatened to kill him, the reporting employee allowed and followed the suspect to meet the reporter in his office. When the suspect met the complainant, the suspect pointed a knife at the face and head of the complainant, and then the reporting employee forcibly took the knife from the suspect's hand, and secured the knife, even though the suspect still rebelled and screamed," he explained.
Acun then reported the incident to the police on September 21, 2022. After going through a long legal process, KH was named a suspect.
"That even though KH has been named a suspect, investigators have not carried out any charges. The authority to detain the suspect is very dependent on the investigator's subjective considerations and also considers the threat of punishment for the alleged article to the suspect," said Vitalis.
The suspect and the reporter have been in a relationship in marriage since January 18, 2017 and ended the marriage relationship with divorce on January 7, 2019 through the Bekasi Religious Court Decision (AKTA CERAI Number: 0033/AC/2019/PA.BKS dated January 7, 2019).
That for the property generated during the marriage period, the suspect and the reporter agreed to make Akta : JOINT AGREEMENT NUMBER : 7, dated December 8, 2020, where the reporter acted as the First Party and the Suspect as the Second Party.
"Based on the agreement, it was also agreed that the workshop which was then contested by the suspect, the control and business was handed over to the complainant. However, the suspect tried to deny the deed of agreement and wanted to take over the possession of the workshop and build a 3 (three) meter high barrier between the reporting office building and the house where the suspect KH lived," he explained.
