KPK Execution Ex Direct Director Of PT Angkasa Pura II To Cibinong Prison
JAKARTA - The executing prosecutor at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) executed the former Finance Director of PT Angkasa Pura II at the Class IIA Cibinong Correctional Institution (Lapas).
The execution was carried out because the bribery case for the Baggage Handling System (BHS) procurement project at PT Angkas Pura Propertindo (APP) which was carried out by PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (INTI) has been signed or has permanent legal force.
"Today, February 10, KPK execution prosecutor Leo Sukoto Manalu has carried out the decision of the Supreme Court," said Acting KPK spokesman for prosecution Ali Fikri in a written statement, Wednesday, February 10.
The basis for this execution is the Decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number 188 / K / Pid.Sus / 2021 dated January 25, 2021 in conjunction with the Decision of the Corruption Court at PT DKI Jakarta Number: 17 / Pid.Sus-TPK / 2020 / PT DKI dated July 9 2020 Jo Decision of the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court Number: 118 / PID.SUS / TPK / 2019 / PN.Jkt.Pst April 8, 2020.
At the prison, Andra will serve a 4-year sentence minus the sentence according to the Supreme Court's cassation ruling. Apart from being sentenced to a criminal offense, Andra was also sentenced to a fine of Rp. 100 million, a subsidiary of 3 months in prison.
This verdict was handed down because Andra was proven legally and convincingly in accepting a bribe of 71 thousand US dollars and 96 thousand Singapore dollars from the President Director of PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (INTI) Darman Mappangara.
The bribes received in stages were intended to make PT INTI the implementer of the Semi Baggage Handling System (BHS) installation work.
