An Earthquake With A Magnitude Of 6.5 In Bengkulu, No Potential For A Tsunami
JAKARTA - An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.5 rocked Bengkulu on Wednesday, February 10, at around 19:52 WIB. This is quoted from the Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) website.
BMKG detailed, the earthquake occurred 80 km southwest of Enggano Bengku with a depth of 10 km. This earthquake is said to have no potential for a tsunami.
However, people are advised to remain alert to aftershocks. "There is no potential for a tsunami. Be careful of aftershocks that may occur", as quoted by BMKG.
