Operator Ihsan Yunus Nervousness When Folding Brompton's Bicycle At The KPK

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) immediately reconstructed the provision of two Brompton bicycles from the former deputy chairman of Commission VIII House of Representatives of Indonesia (DPR RI) Ihsan Yunus, Agustri Yogasmara aka Yogas to Harry Sidabuke.

Meanwhile, Harry Sidabuke was the bribe provider to Edhy Prabowo when he was Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries regarding the export license for shrimp fry.

There is an interesting incident in this reconstruction activity. The operator Ihsan Yunus, Yogas, seemed nervous as he folded his bicycle to be put into the car. As a result, the British-made bike is not perfectly involved and makes Harry help fold the bike.

Even though it has been assisted, the bicycle has not folded completely. As a result, the bicycle was put into the car with imperfect folds. Maybe he was nervous because the reconstruction was witnessed by investigators and the media crew.

In this reconstruction that was held at the KPK on Wednesday, February 10, investigators had asked several questions. Including the car used by Yogas when receiving the two bicycles.

"When doing handover with whom?" asked investigators to Yogas at the KPK building, Wednesday, February 10.

"Alone," he replied.

"Who did you bring Alphard silver with you at that time?"

"Alone," he said.

Not satisfied with Yogas' answer, investigators asked Harry Sidabuke the same question again.

"Are you drive the Alphard silver by yourself, Harry? Alphard silver or BMW?"

"Yes, Alphard silver, sir,", said Harry.

Furthermore, the two men performed a scene on a Brompton bicycle which was allegedly related to the bribery case that ensnared former Social Minister Juliari Peter Batubara.

After the reconstruction was completed, the two of them were then brought back into the KPK's Red and White House for further investigation by investigators.

Previously, Yogas, the operator of the former Deputy Chairman of Commission VIII DPR Ihsan Yunus, handed over two units of Brompton branded folding bikes.

Yogas arrived at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta at around 14.00 WIB, and went straight to the registration desk. Next, he went up to the second floor of the investigation room before handing over the two bicycles.

Regarding the handover of these bicycles to the anti-gas commission, Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri said investigators would conduct an analysis.

"Today the witness Agustri Yogasmara was present to hand over 2 units of Brompton bicycles to the KPK investigating team. Next, of course, further analysis will be carried out regarding these items", Ali said in a written statement to reporters.

If the analysis finds a connection with the social assistance case, the KPK will confiscate the bicycle.

"If it is then concluded that there is a connection with a case that is currently in the process of investigating this, it will certainly be confiscated as evidence in the case file", said Ali.

It is known, in the reconstruction of the case that was carried out on Monday, February 1, Yogas was said to have received IDR 1.53 billion in cash and 2 units of Brompton bicycles from Harry Sidabuke as the operator of Ihsan Yunus.

Harry also gave money to Yogas in June 2020 around Jalan Salemba Raya and was carried out in a car. Meanwhile, two Brompton bikes were awarded in November 2020.

Furthermore, investigators examined Yogas on Monday, February 8. This examination was carried out today, after he failed to fulfill the investigator's summons on Friday, January 29.
