Increasing 3.22 Percent, ASDP Successfully Transports 3.7 Million Logistics Vehicle Units Until September
JAKARTA - PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) noted that it has served 3.72 million logistics vehicles from January to September 2023. The vehicles served range from the IVB, VB, VIB, VIB, VIII, VIII and IX groups.
"This figure increased by 3.22 percent by 119,963 vehicles from the previous year which reached 3.6 million vehicles," said President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Ira Puspadewi in an official statement, Monday, October 23.
Based on ASDP data, continued Ira, the largest increase in the volume of vehicles crossing came from class VII by 14 percent or reaching 218,696 units compared to last year in the same period. The type VII vehicles are goods vehicles with a length range of more than 10 meters to 12 meters.
In addition, said Ira, an increase in the volume of vehicles also occurred in the VB class of medium-sized goods vehicles with a length of 5-7 meters to reach 1.56 million vehicles as of September 2023.
Ira ensured that from the aspect of crossing production this year, ASDP is targeting the target of 5.93 million passengers. Meanwhile, there are 4.88 million 2 and 3 wheeled vehicles, 4.73 million passenger vehicles, and 5.85 million goods vehicles.

"ASDP targets the company's total revenue of IDR 5.6 trillion with a net profit of around IDR 700 billion during 2023," he said.
Ira also said that the logistics sector is the main pillar that supports the ASDP crossing business during the pandemic to date. Therefore, the Company is committed to providing superior services in the logistics sector that supports the company's operations.
