Almost Canceled, Gaganyaan Successfully Conducts Today's Launch Trial

JAKARTA The Indian Space Research Agency (ISRO) succeeded in conducting the Flight Test Vehicle Abort Mission-1 (TV-D1) on the Gaganyan plane today, around 12.00 WIB.

The launch time actually withdrew from what was scheduled and was almost canceled. Initially, ISRO delayed its launch time twice with a total of 45 minutes due to weather issues.

However, the test launch for Gaganyaan's mission was suddenly canceled. The official ISRO Spaceflight account wrote, "Today's TV-D1 launch was canceled due to engine failure."

One hour later, ISRO again gave news that the launch would still be carried out as planned. In the end, ISRO managed through the TV-D1 process.

Gaganyaan is part of India's astronaut landing mission on the Moon. Before undergoing the mission, ISRO must prove that the capsule carrying astronauts can return safely.

After this series of trials are successful, Gaganyaan will carry out further missions by bringing three astronauts to the Earth Low Orbit (LEO) 400 kilometers away. After that, the three astronauts will return to earth three days later.

If Gaganyaan's mission continues to work, ISRO may successfully land the first astronaut from their country by 2040, according to their plan.

India has become the fourth country to successfully land a rover on the moon, although their rover is a robot. If Gaganyaan's mission is realized by 2040, India could be the second country to land humans on the moon.
