Ustaz Maaher's Disease Was Not Revealed By The Police, Denny Siregar: Entar Opened EnteRibut
JAKARTA - Social media activist Denny Siregar asked everyone not to speculate about the cause of the death of Ustaz Maheer At-Thuwailibi at the Police Criminal Investigation Prison on Monday, February 8.
According to him, if the police do not want to reveal the cause of Maaher's death, the public should believe in him. It is not that this speculation has resulted in the loss of the almahrum family.
"If the police have said, you don't have to tell the name of the disease so as not to embarrass the family, just ignore it .. You know," he wrote as quoted by VOI from his Twitter account @ Dennysiregar7, Wednesday, February 10.
"There's no need to undermine so much so that it's open. It's really opened, you're making a fuss again," Cook until that much ??? "," he added.
Previously reported, the National Police Headquarters said they could not convey the illness suffered by Ustaz Maaher At-Tahuwailibi alias Soni Ernata. Ustaz Maaher died at the Police Criminal Investigation Detention Center.
"I cannot convey what the pain was because it was sensitive, this could be related to the good name of the deceased," said Head of Public Relations of the Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono to reporters, Tuesday, February 9.
Most importantly, said Argo, the police medicine has provided the best care for ustaz Maaher while complaining of illness
"From the doctor's statement and the treatment, Soni Ernata's brother has a sensitive illness which can make the family's good name tarnished if we mention it here," said Argo.
The National Police Headquarters emphasized that it had carried out the restriction or detention at the hospital of Ustaz Maaher At Thuwailibi alias Soni Ernata.
"We have done it and we have a letter asking the investigators to go to the Bhayangkara Police Hospital. What is it for? For treatment," said Argo.
Everything about Ustaz Maaher's health development was written in his medical record. So, this at the same time rejects all assumptions that Ustaz Maaher's death was not caused by illness.
"We conveyed that there are a lot of them from this hospital, so not only once but there is a lot that is done every day, this is the result. All of this is a medical record. This means that the information from the doctor concerned is sick. We also check all of the lab results. "said Argo.
"Here are some of the results that we get from doctors and laboratories. We also do this. There are also those from the Police Health Center," he continued.
Although the police confirmed that the cause of ustaz's death was due to illness, Commissioner of the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) Choirul Anam said that his party would ask for information from the police.
"We will ask the police for information regarding the cause of death (Ustaz Maaher, red)," said Choirul when contacted by reporters, Tuesday, February 9.
He said the request for information would be made in the near future. This is because the death of a prisoner in a detention center as experienced by Ustaz Maaher is a concern for Komnas HAM.
"The death of a detainee needs in-depth information. Even though the police have said he died sick, it is important to know what kind of pain he was and how the pain took place in the prison and until he died," he said.
