Juliadi, The Elected Mayor Of Binjai Died After 11 Days Of Treatment Due To COVID-19

JAKARTA - Winner of the Regional Elections (Pilkada) of Binjai City, North Sumatra, Juliadi SPd, died after undergoing treatment for several days at a hospital in Medan.

Juliadi died on Tuesday, February 9 evening at around 22.44 pm local time at a private hospital in Medan. The late was treated and isolated as a patient exposed to the COVID-19 virus.

This news was confirmed by the Head of the Binjai City Health Office as well as the COVID-19 Task Force Team, Dr. Sugianto when contacted Wednesday, February 10, reported by Antara.

Sugianto coordinated with the hospital that treated the elected Mayor of Binjai.

"Yes, I just heard the news, at what time, I still confirm, whether the news of Juliadi's death is true or not", he said.

Dr. Sugianto again deliver the news after coordinating with the hospital, it is said that Juliadi died at 22.44 pm local time in the ICU room at Bunda Thamrin Hospital.

"I have already coordinated with the hospital director, we got the news that Mr. Juliadi died at 22.44 pm local time in the ICU room at Bunda Thamrin Hospital. He has been treated as a COVID-19 patient for 11 days from January 30, 2021", he said.
