Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD has informed and said goodbye to Vice President Ma'ruf Amin to come forward to accompany Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election. What did Ma'ruf say?
"Yes, that's why he gave advice, be careful, ordering is not easy, there are many challenges, but he prays as a fellow NU (Nahdlatul Ulama) citizen," said Kiai Ma'ruf Amin, guarding the dignity. Mahfud said that he would immediately become a vice presidential candidate to accompany Ganjar when he met the Vice President at the official residence of the Vice President, Jalan Diponegoro, Central Jakarta, this morning.
The vice president was told earlier by Ma'ruf because President Jokowi had been on a trip to China and was then scheduled for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia since Monday, October 16.
Mahfud said there was no special reason for him to meet the Vice President this morning. According to him, his arrival met the Vice President limited to saying goodbye and informing him that he was appointed as a vice presidential candidate to accompany Ganjar.
"Yes, I told you, there really doesn't have to be a permit for that, it just tells," he said.
