PPKM Mikro, DKI Provincial Government Require Ojol To Keep A Distance Of 1 Meter While Waiting For Passengers
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta has extended the PSBB following PPKM Mikro until February 22. Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, requires online motorcycle taxis (ojol) to maintain a minimum distance of 1 meter while waiting for passengers.
This is stated in the Decree of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency Number 65 of 2021 concerning Technical Guidelines for Limiting Transport Capacity and Operational Time of Transportation Facilities in the Context of Enforcing Micro-Based Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM).
"Online motorcycle taxi drivers while waiting for passengers must maintain a minimum distance of one meter between drivers and parking between motorbikes," Syafrin said in the decree, quoted on Wednesday, February 10.
In addition, ojol drivers are also prohibited from crowding more than five people. Syafrin asked online motorcycle taxi application companies such as Gojek and Grab to apply geofencing technology so that drivers do not crowd.
"Application companies also impose sanctions on drivers who violate," he said.
Furthermore, Syafrin said that there is an extension of the operational time of public transportation in Jakarta starting today.
The time limit for the operational time of the Transjakarta public transportation facilities, regular public transportation, the Integrated Moda Raya (MRT), and the Integrated Highway (LRT) from 05.00 WIB to 22.00 WIB.
Transjakarta also extends the operational time until 23.00 WIB especially for health personnel passengers.
Then, water transportation operates from 05.00 WIB to 18.00 WIB. Meanwhile, the operational time for the Jabodetabek Commuter Line electric train follows the operational pattern of PT KCI.
"The limitation of transport capacity for users of transportation modes of movement of people and goods is carried out with a maximum limitation of 50 percent of the carrying capacity," he said.
