Accused Of Cursed Minors, Aceh Noodle Chef Persecuted By Gangs To Criticality In Hospitals

JAKARTA - Zalmawi, a chef at the Aceh noodle restaurant on Jalan Teluk Betung, Tanah Abang District, became a victim of a beating by a youth gang. As a result, Zalmawi was critical and hospitalized.

Fellow victim, Askarul Mahdi (23) reported the case to the Central Jakarta Metro Police. According to Askarul's statement in a police report, the beating took place on Sunday night, October 15.

"The incident occurred at the Mie Aceh Sultan food stall, Jalan Teluk Betung II, RT 10/09, Kebon Melati Village, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta when Zalmawi was cooking," Askarul was quoted as saying in his report letter, Tuesday, October 17.

When the victim was cooking, suddenly came the perpetrator with the initials G with his friends angry with the victim. Perpetrator G also accused the victim of scolding the perpetrator's child.

"The perpetrator together with his friend immediately hit the victim with his bare hands repeatedly into the head, chest, and hands of the victim," he said.

As a result of the incident, the victim suffered injuries to the head and bleeding and vomiting.

"The victim was injured in the head, chest, hands and vomiting," he said.

Askarul also reported the case to the Central Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters. Meanwhile, the perpetrator has not been arrested.
