JAKARTA - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reported that Indonesia's trade balance in September 2023 was in a surplus position of 3.42 billion US dollars, an increase of 0.3 billion on a monthly basis.
"Indonesia's trade balance has recorded a surplus for 41 consecutive months since May 2020," said BPS Head Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti to Monday, October 16.
He added that the September 2023 surplus looked increased from the previous month.
However, when compared to the same month the year looks lower.
